Shepherd of Peace Adult Choir

If you like to to sing - come and join the adult choir! The choir meets every Monday night 7-8pm from September through May. There are no tryouts. It is open to anyone in the congregation. Come one, come all!

 


The Organization of WELS Lutheran Seniors (OWLS)

The OWLS group is open to members of our congregation who are 55 or older and/or retired. This group provides opportunities for Christian fellowship, as well as opportunities to serve our congregation through small service projects.  Some of the service projects which the OWLS sponsored in the past are: 

  • the memorial bench outside Shepherd of Peace,commemorating the 25th anniversary of our congregation.  
  • the flagpole, American flag, and lighting system outside our Preschool Academy. 

This group meets once every few months for a meal and quick meeting - either at Shepherd of Peace or a local restaurant.

Altar Guild

The altar guild is opento anyone who is interested!  The members of the Altar Guild take turns making sure that the candles are filled with oil, the paraments are changed, and the communion ware is set up before each service.  All are simple tasks - but each is absolutely essential to our congregational worship life!
