About our Kindergarten
It has been said that the right tool, when properly applied, makes all the difference. This is certainly true when it comes to providing children with a strong Christian education. At Shepherd of Peace Christian Academy, each staff member understands the vital role that God’s Word plays in the Christian training of children. They also know that Christian education is more than simply having a course called “Religion” in the curriculum.
The Kindergarten curriculum of Shepherd of Peace Christian Academy is aimed at providing a Christ-centered education for each child. It is the objective of our school that each child should be educated spiritually and academically. Not only is each child trained for a future here on earth, but our school's greatest concern is for the spiritual growth of each child to prepare him/her for heaven. Proverbs 22:16 “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”
As a Christian school, our goal is to proclaim, teach, and apply faithfully the Word of God in all subjects. We are committed to providing a quality, caring Christian education that meets your child's mental, physical and spiritual needs. In doing so, we strive to meet or exceed the Ohio Academic Standards for Kindergarten by delivering a quality academic kindergarten curriculum.
Selecting a school that has more than just a strong academic curriculum is a critical decision. At Shepherd of Peace Christian Academy, our staff is here to assist families in their God given privilege and responsibility to bring their children up in the “training and instruction of the Lord.” (Ephesians 6:4)
Come and experience what a difference a Christ-centered education can make!
